and ask them, "why do you not fear god?"

ask them which of them will vouch for that,
(அவ்வாறெனில்) அவர்களில் எவர் அதற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பவர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களிடம் கேட்பீராக.

ask them: “which of them can guarantee that?
(அவ்வாறெனில்) அவர்களில் எவர் அதற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பவர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களிடம் கேட்பீராக.

ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it?
(அவ்வாறெனில்) அவர்களில் எவர் அதற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பவர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களிடம் கேட்பீராக.

ask them, which of them will aver [any of] that!
(அவ்வாறெனில்) அவர்களில் எவர் அதற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பவர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களிடம் கேட்பீராக.

now ask them whether your lord has daughters, whereas they have sons.
(நபியே!) அவர்களிடம் கேளும்; உம் இறைவனுக்குப் பெண் மக்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு ஆண்மக்களையுமா (கற்பனை செய்கிறார்கள்) என்று.

ask them: "which of you is able to vouch for this?"
(அவ்வாறெனில்) அவர்களில் எவர் அதற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பவர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களிடம் கேட்பீராக.

ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible.
(அவ்வாறெனில்) அவர்களில் எவர் அதற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்பவர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களிடம் கேட்பீராக.

ask them (o muhammad) which of them will vouch for that!

ask them, “are the daughters for your lord, while for them the sons?”
(நபியே!) அவர்களிடம் கேளும்; உம் இறைவனுக்குப் பெண் மக்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு ஆண்மக்களையுமா (கற்பனை செய்கிறார்கள்) என்று.

ask them, are daughters to be for your lord while sons are to be for them?
(நபியே!) அவர்களிடம் கேளும்; உம் இறைவனுக்குப் பெண் மக்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு ஆண்மக்களையுமா (கற்பனை செய்கிறார்கள்) என்று.

now ask them (o muhammad): hath thy lord daughters whereas they have sons?
(நபியே!) அவர்களிடம் கேளும்; உம் இறைவனுக்குப் பெண் மக்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு ஆண்மக்களையுமா (கற்பனை செய்கிறார்கள்) என்று.

ask them, "who is the lord of the seven heavens and the great throne?"
"ஏழு வானங்களுக்கு இறைவனும் மகத்தான அர்ஷுக்கு இறைவனும் யார்?" என்றும் கேட்பீராக.

you do not ask them any reward for it: it is just a reminder for all the nations.
இதற்காக நீர் அவர்களிடத்தில் எந்தக் கூலியும் கேட்பதில்லை. இஃது அகிலத்தார் அனைவருக்கும் நினைவூட்டும் நல்லுபதேசமே அன்றி வேறில்லை.

or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?-
நீர் அவர்களிடம் ஏதாவது கூலிகேட்டு, அதனால் அவர்களுக்கு கடன் சுமை ஏற்பட்டு விட்டதா?

(god) will ask them on that day: "what answer did you give the apostles?"
மேலும், (அல்லாஹ் விசாரணைக்காக) அவர்களைக் கூப்பிடும் நாளில், (உங்களை நேர்வழிக்கு அழைத்த நம்) தூதர்களுக்கு என்ன பதில் கொடுத்தீர்கள்?" என்றும் கேட்பான்.

ask them: "who is the lord of the seven heavens, the lord of the great throne?"
"ஏழு வானங்களுக்கு இறைவனும் மகத்தான அர்ஷுக்கு இறைவனும் யார்?" என்றும் கேட்பீராக.

and if thou ask them who created them, they will surely say: allah. how then are they turned away?
மேலும், அவர்களிடம் யார் அவர்களைப் படைத்தது என்று நீர் கேட்டால் "அல்லாஹ்" என்றே அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக கூறுவார்கள்; அவ்வாறிக்கும் போது (அவனைவிட்டு) அவர்கள் எங்கு திருப்பப்படுகிறார்கள்?
