then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, why hast thou done this? for the men knew that he fled from the presence of the lord, because he had told them.

on that day the lord magnified joshua in the sight of all israel; and they feared him, as they feared moses, all the days of his life.

so they feared the lord, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.

(mitindog ako sa taliwala ni jehova ug kaninyo niadtong panahona, aron sa pagpakita kaninyo sa pulong ni jehova: kay nangahadlok kamo tungod sa kalayo, ug wala kamo motungas sa bukid), nga nagaingon:
(i stood between the lord and you at that time, to shew you the work of the lord: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,
