and jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
waphendula uyesu, wabuya wathetha kubo ngemizekeliso, esithi,

and he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
wayebafundisa iindawo ezininzi ngemizekeliso. ubesithi kubo ekubafundiseni kwakhe,

and the disciples came, and said unto him, why speakest thou unto them in parables?
beza abafundi bathi kuye, kungani na ukuba uthethe kubo ngemizekeliso?

then said i, ah lord god! they say of me, doth he not speak parables?
ndathi, awu! nkosi yehova, bathi ngam lo, akenzi ngemizekeliso kodwa na?

and it came to pass, that when jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
kwathi, akuyigqiba uyesu le mizekeliso, wanduluka khona apho.

and he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, how can satan cast out satan?

and he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, behold, a sower went forth to sow;

all these things spake jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
ezi ndawo zonke uyesu wazithetha ngemizekeliso kuzo izihlwele; akathethanga kungengamzekeliso kuzo;

therefore speak i to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
ngenxa yoko ndithetha nabo ngemizekeliso; ngokuba bebona nje bengaboni, besiva nje bengeva, bengaqondi nokuqonda.

and he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of god: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
wathi kubo, nikuphiwe nina ukuyazi imfihlelo yobukumkani bukathixo; ke kwabo bangaphandle zonke izinto ezi zibakho ngemizekeliso;

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, i will open my mouth in parables; i will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
