(எனினும்,) தான் நாடியதை (அதிலிருந்து) அல்லாஹ் அழித்து விடுவான். (தான் நாடியதை அதில்) நிலைத்திருக்கவும் செய்வான் - அவனிடத்திலேயே உம்முல் கிதாப் (மூலப் பதிவேடும்) இருக்கறது.

allah abolisheth whatsoever he will and keepeth; and with him is the mother of the book.
(எனினும்,) தான் நாடியதை (அதிலிருந்து) அல்லாஹ் அழித்து விடுவான். (தான் நாடியதை அதில்) நிலைத்திருக்கவும் செய்வான் - அவனிடத்திலேயே உம்முல் கிதாப் (மூலப் பதிவேடும்) இருக்கறது.

(அவற்றின் கனிகளை) அடியார்களுக்கு உணவாக (அளிக்கிறோம்), மேலும், அதைக் கொண்டு இறந்து கிடந்த ஊரை (பூமியை) நாம் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறோம், இவ்விதமே, (இறந்தவர்கள் உயிர்ப்பிக்கப் பெற்று) வெளியேறுதலும் இருக்கிறது.

and allah is he who sends the winds so they raise a cloud, then we drive it on to a dead country, and therewith we give life to the earth after its death; even so is the quickening.
மேலும் அல்லாஹ்தான் காற்றுகளை அனுப்புகிறான்; அவை மேகங்களை(க் கிளப்பி) ஓட்டுகின்றன - பின்னர் அவற்றை (வரண்டு) இறந்துகிடக்கும் நிலத்தின் மீது செலுத்துகிறோம். (மழை பெய்யச் செய்து) அதைக் கொண்டு நிலத்தை அது (வரண்டு) இறந்து போனபின் உயிர்ப்பிக்கின்றோம். (இறந்து போனவர் மறுமையில்) உயிர்பெற்று எழுவதும் இவ்வாறே இருக்கிறது.

and whosoever findeth not a slave to free on him is the fasting for two months in succession before the twain touch each other, and on him who is not able to do so is the feeding of sixty needy ones. that is in order that ye may believe in allah and his apostle; and these are the ordinances of allah. and for the infidels is a torment afflictive.
ஆனால் (அடிமையை விடுதலை செய்ய வசதி) எவர் பெறவில்லையோ, அவர், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன் இரண்டு மாதங்கள் தொடர்ச்சியாக நோன்பு நோற்க வேண்டும்; எவர் இதற்கும் சக்தி பெறவில்லையோ, அவர் அறுபது ஏழைகளுக்கு உணவு அளித்தல் - வேண்டும், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதும் அவனுடைய தூதர் மீதும் விசுவாசம் கொள்வதற்காக (இவ்வாறு கட்டளையிடப்பட்டுள்ளது). மேலும் இவை அல்லாஹ் விதிக்கும் வரம்புகளாகும், அன்றியும், காஃபிர்களுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனை உண்டு.

allah commands you concerning your children; the son’s share is equal to that of two daughters; and if there are only daughters, for them is two-thirds of the inheritance, even if they are more than two; and if there is only one daughter, for her is half; and to each of the deceased’s parents a sixth of the inheritance, if he has children; and if the deceased has no children but leaves behind parents, then one third for the mother; and if he has several brothers and sisters, a sixth for the mother, after any will he may have made and payment of debt; your fathers and your sons – you do not know which of them will be more useful to you; this is the share fixed by allah; indeed allah is all knowing, wise.
உங்கள் மக்களில் ஓர் ஆணுக்கு, இரண்டு பெண்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பங்குபோன்றது கிடைக்கும் என்று அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு உபதேசிக்கின்றான். பெண்கள் மட்டும் இருந்து அவர்கள் இரண்டு அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்டிருந்தால் அவர்களுக்கு இறந்து போனவர்விட்டுச் சென்றதில் மூன்றில் இரண்டு பாகம் கிடைக்கும். ஆனால் ஒரே பெண்ணாக இருந்தால் அவள் பங்கு பாதியாகும்; இறந்தவருக்கு குழந்தை இருக்குமானால் இறந்தவர் விட்டுச் சென்றதில் ஆறில் ஒரு பாகம் (அவரது) பெற்றோர் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் உண்டு. ஆனால் இறந்தவருக்கு குழந்தை இல்லாதிருந்து பெற்றோர் மாத்திரமே வாரிசாக இருந்தால் அவர் தாய்க்கு மூன்றில் ஒரு பாகம் (மீதி தந்தைக்கு உரியதாகும்). இறந்தவருக்கு சகோதரர்கள் இருந்தால் அவர் தாய்க்கு ஆறில் ஒரு பாகம் தான் (மீதி தந்தைக்கு சேரும்). இவ்வாறு பிரித்துக் கொடுப்பது அவர் செய்துள்ள மரண சாஸனத்தையும், கடனையும் நிரைவேற்றிய பின்னர்தான்;. உங்கள் பெற்றோர்களும், குழந்தைகளும் - இவர்களில் யார் நன்மை பயப்பதில் உங்களுக்கு நெருக்கமாக இருப்பவர்கள் என்று நீங்கள் அறிய மாட்டீர்கள்;. ஆகையினால் (இந்த பாகப்பிரிவினை) அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து வந்த கட்டளையாகும்;. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தவனாகவும் மிக்க ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
