ܗܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܛܘܒܐ ܥܠ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܗܘ ܐܘ ܥܠ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܐܡܪܝܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܬܚܫܒܬ ܠܐܒܪܗܡ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܗ ܠܟܐܢܘ

(as it is written, he hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
ܐܝܟ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܕܒܕܪ ܘܝܗܒ ܠܡܤܟܢܐ ܘܙܕܝܩܘܬܗ ܩܝܡܐ ܠܥܠܡ

and the scripture was fulfilled which saith, abraham believed god, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the friend of god.
