Ва ин шеваи довариро ба Сулаймон омӯхтем ва ҳамаро ҳукму илм додем ва кӯҳҳоро мутеъи Довуд гардонидем, ки онҳо ва паррандагон бо ӯ тасбеҳ мегуфтанд ва ин ҳама Мо кардем.

and of them are some who hearken unto thee and we have set over their hearts veils lest they understand it, and in their ears heaviness, and though they see any sign they will not believe therein: in as much as when they come to thee, they dispute with thee.
Баъзе аз онҳо ба сухани ту гӯш медиҳанд, вале Мо бар дилҳояшон пардаҳо афкандаем, то онро дарнаёбанд ва гушҳояшонро вазнин кардаем. Ва ҳар мӯъҷизаеро, ки бингаранд, ба он имон намеоваранд.

and we set up over their hearts veils lest they understand it, and in their ears heaviness and when thou mentionest in reciting the qur'an thy lord alone, they turn backward as averters.
Ва бар дилҳошон парда афканем, то онро дарнаёбанд ва гӯшҳошон сангин кунем. Ва чун Парвардигоратро дар Қуръон ба яктоӣ ёд кунӣ, бозмегарданду мераманд.

and so we made solomon understand it, and to each we gave wisdom and knowledge. and we subjected the mountains along with david to sing our praises, and the birds as well—surely we did.
Ва ин шеваи довариро ба Сулаймон омӯхтем ва ҳамаро ҳукму илм додем ва кӯҳҳоро мутеъи Довуд гардонидем, ки онҳо ва паррандагон бо ӯ тасбеҳ мегуфтанд ва ин ҳама Мо кардем.

and you should not settle anything finally about the marriage until the waiting term expires. understand it well that allah even knows what is hidden in your hearts; so fear him.
Вале дар ниҳон бо онон ваъда наниҳед, магар он ки ба тарзе некӯ сухан гӯед; ва оҳанги бастани никоҳ макунед то он муддат тамом шавад ва бидонед, ки Худо ба он чӣ дар дил доред, огоҳ аст.

and we place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it, and in their ears a deafness; and when thou makest mention of thy lord alone in the qur'an, they turn their backs in aversion.
Ва бар дилҳошон парда афканем, то онро дарнаёбанд ва гӯшҳошон сангин кунем. Ва чун Парвардигоратро дар Қуръон ба яктоӣ ёд кунӣ, бозмегарданду мераманд.

and of them there are some who appear to pay heed to you, but upon their hearts we have laid coverings so they understand it not; and in their ears, heaviness (so they hear not).
Баъзе аз онҳо ба сухани ту гӯш медиҳанд, вале Мо бар дилҳояшон пардаҳо афкандаем, то онро дарнаёбанд ва гушҳояшонро вазнин кардаем. Ва ҳар мӯъҷизаеро, ки бингаранд, ба он имон намеоваранд.

and among them is one who listens to you; and we have put covers upon their hearts so they may not understand it, and deafness in their ears; and (even) if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them; to the extent that when they come to you to debate with you, the disbelievers say, “this is nothing but stories of former people.”
Баъзе аз онҳо ба сухани ту гӯш медиҳанд, вале Мо бар дилҳояшон пардаҳо афкандаем, то онро дарнаёбанд ва гушҳояшонро вазнин кардаем. Ва ҳар мӯъҷизаеро, ки бингаранд, ба он имон намеоваранд.
