அல்லது, (நம்முடைய வேதனையிலிருந்து) நம்மையன்றி அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றும் தெய்வங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு இருக்கின்றனவா? அவர்கள் தமக்குத்தாமே உதவிசெய்ய சக்தியற்றவர்கள். மேலும் அவர்கள் நம்மிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்றப்படுபவர்களும் அல்லர்.

there they shall not taste death, except the first death, and he will shield them from the punishment of hell,

அல்லது, (நம்முடைய வேதனையிலிருந்து) நம்மையன்றி அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றும் தெய்வங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு இருக்கின்றனவா? அவர்கள் தமக்குத்தாமே உதவிசெய்ய சக்தியற்றவர்கள். மேலும் அவர்கள் நம்மிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்றப்படுபவர்களும் அல்லர்.

and shield them from the evil deeds. whomever you shield from the evil deeds, on that day, you have had mercy on him. that is the supreme achievement.”
"இன்னும், அவர்களைத் தீமைகளிலிருந்து காப்பாயாக! அந்நாளில் நீ யாரை தீமைகளிலிருந்து காத்துக் கொள்கிறாயோ, அவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக நீ அருள் புரிந்து விட்டாய் - அதுவே மகத்தான வெற்றியாகும்" (என்றும் கூறுவர்).

and it is with the same directive that we revealed to you this arabic writ. were you indeed to follow the vain desires of people after the true knowledge has come to you, none will be your supporter against allah, and none will have the power to shield you from his punishment.
(நபியே!) இவ்வாறே அரபி (மொழி)யில் சட்ட திட்டங்களைக் கொண்டதாக, இ(வ் வேதத்)தை நாம் இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம்; எனவே உமக்கு ஞானம் வந்த பின்னரும் அவர்களுடைய (வீணான) இச்சைகளை நீர் பின்பற்றினால் அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து (உம்மை இரட்சிக்கும் உற்ற) உதவியாளரோ, பாதுகாவலரோ (எவரும்) உமக்குக் கிடைக்க மாட்டார்.

god has granted you shade out of what he has created, places of shelter in the mountains, garments with which to protect yourselves from the heat and coats of mail to shield you in battle. thus he completes his favour to you, so that you may submit wholly to him.
இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் தான் படைத்துள்ளவற்றிலிருந்து உங்களுக்கு நிழல்களையும் ஏற்படுத்தினான்; மலைகளிலிருந்து உங்களுக்கு(த் தங்குமிடங்களாக) குகைகளையும் ஏற்படுத்தினான்; இன்னும் வெப்பத்திலிருந்து உங்களைப் பாதுகாக்கக்கூடிய சட்டைகளையும் உங்களுடைய போரில் உங்களை பாதுகாக்கக்கூடிய கவசங்களையும் உங்களுக்காக அமைத்தான்; நீங்கள் (அவனுக்கு) முற்றிலும் வழிப்பட்டு நடப்பதாக, இவ்வாறு தன் அருட்கொடையை உங்களுக்குப் பூர்த்தியாக்கினான்.
