ይህ ( ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት ) ድግምት ነውን ? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን ?

and whether you are killed or you die , towards allah you will be gathered .
ብትሞቱም ወይም ብትገደሉ በእርግጥ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡

do not set up another god besides allah , or you will sit blameworthy , forsaken .
ከአላህ ጋር ሌላን አምላክ አታድርግ የተወቀስክ ረዳት የሌለህ ትኾናለህና ፤

" do not set up another god with god , or you will remain disgraced and destitute .
ከአላህ ጋር ሌላን አምላክ አታድርግ የተወቀስክ ረዳት የሌለህ ትኾናለህና ፤

and do not be one of those who deny the signs of god , or you will be among the losers .
ከእነዚያም የአላህን አንቀጾች ከአስተባበሉት አትሁን ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹ ትሆናለህና ፡ ፡

do not keep your hand chained to your neck , nor open it altogether , or you will sit blameworthy and regretful .
እጅህንም ወደ አንገትህ የታሰረች አታድርግ ፡ ፡ መዘርጋትንም ሁሉ አትዘርጋት ፤ የተወቀስክ የተቆጨኽ ትኾናለህና ፡ ፡

if you are killed in the cause of god or you die , the forgiveness and mercy of god are better than all that you amass .
በአላህም መንገድ ብትገደሉ ወይም ፤ ብትሞቱ ከአላህ የኾነው ምሕረትና እዝነት ( እነርሱ ) ከሚሰበስቡት ሀብት በእርግጥ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

and if you are slain in the way of allah or you die , certainly forgiveness from allah and mercy is better than what they amass .
በአላህም መንገድ ብትገደሉ ወይም ፤ ብትሞቱ ከአላህ የኾነው ምሕረትና እዝነት ( እነርሱ ) ከሚሰበስቡት ሀብት በእርግጥ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

( solomon ) said : ' we shall see if you speak the truth or you are a liar .
( ሱለይማንም ) አለ « እውነት እንደ ተናገርክ ወይም ከውሸታሞቹ እንደ ኾንክ ወደፊት እናያለን ፡ ፡

enter then , my people , the holy land that god has ordained for you , and do not turn back , or you will suffer . "
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ያችን አላህ ለእናንተ ያደረጋትን የተቀደሰችውን መሬት ግቡ ፡ ፡ ወደ ኋላችሁም አትመለሱ ፡ ፡ ከሳሪዎች ኾናችሁ ትመለሳላችሁና ፡ ፡ »

do not lean towards the wicked , or you will be caught in the flames of hell , and have none to befriend you other than god , nor will you be given help .
ወደእነዚያም ወደ በደሉት አትጠጉ ፡ ፡ እሳት ትነካችኋለችና ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ጠባቂዎች የሏችሁም ፡ ፡ ከዚያም አትረድዱም ፡ ፡

" or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes , and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly ;
« ወይም ከዘምባባዎችና ከወይን የኾነች አትክልት ለአንተ እስከምትኖርህና በመካከልዋም ጂረቶችን በብዛት እስከምታንቧቧ ፡ ፡

' o adam dwell with your wife in paradise , and eat from whatever you please ; but never approach this tree or you shall both become harmdoers '
« አዳም ሆይ ! አንተም ሚስትህም በገነት ተቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ከሻችሁትም ስፍራ ብሉ ፡ ፡ ግን ይህችን ዛፍ አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ ( ራሳቸውን ) ከሚበድሉት ትኾናላችሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and we said to adam : " both you and your spouse live in the garden , eat freely to your fill wherever you like , but approach not this tree or you will become transgressors .
« አደም ሆይ ! አንተ ከነሚስትህ በገነት ተቀመጥ ፤ ከርሷም በፈለጋችሁት ስፍራ በሰፊው ተመገቡ ፤ ግን ይህችን ዛፍ አትቅረቡ ፤ ከበደለኞች ትኾናላችሁና » አልንም ፡ ፡

" or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces , as you have pretended , or you bring allah and the angels before ( us ) face to face ;
« ወይም እንደምትለው ከሰማይ ቁራጮችን በኛ ላይ እስከምታወድቅ ፤ ወይም አላህንና መላእክትን በግልጽ እስከምታመጣ ፡ ፡
