ከእርሱም ከተከለከሉት ነገር በኮሩ ጊዜ ለእነሱ « ወረዶች ዝንጀሮች ኹኑ አልን ፤ » ( ኾኑም ) ፡ ፡

and when they had scornfully persisted in what they had been forbidden , we said to them : ' be apes , despised '
ከእርሱም ከተከለከሉት ነገር በኮሩ ጊዜ ለእነሱ « ወረዶች ዝንጀሮች ኹኑ አልን ፤ » ( ኾኑም ) ፡ ፡

each time i called them so that you might forgive them , they thrust their fingers in their ears and wrapped themselves in their garments , and persisted becomingvery proud .
« እኔም ለእነርሱ ትምር ዘንድ ( ወደ እምነት ) በጠራኋቸው ቁጥር ጣቶቻቸውን በጆሮዎቻቸው ውስጥ አደረጉ ፡ ፡ ልብሶቻቸውንም ተከናነቡ ፡ ፡ ( በመጥፎ ሥራቸው ላይ ) ዘወተሩም ፡ ፡ ( ያለ ልክ ) መኩራትንም ኮሩ ፡ ፡

therefore when they revoltingly persisted in what they had been forbidden , we said to them : be ( as ) apes , despised and hated .
ከእርሱም ከተከለከሉት ነገር በኮሩ ጊዜ ለእነሱ « ወረዶች ዝንጀሮች ኹኑ አልን ፤ » ( ኾኑም ) ፡ ፡

curses were pronounced on those among the children of israel who rejected faith , by the tongue of david and of jesus the son of mary : because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses .
ከእስራኤል ልጆች እነዚያ የካዱት በዳውድና በመርየም ልጅ በዒሳ ምላስ ተረገሙ ፡ ፡ ይህ ትእዛዝን በመጣሳቸውና ወሰንን የሚያልፉ በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

ነፍሶቻቸውም ያረጋገጧት ሲኾኑ ለበደልና ለኩራት በእርሷ ካዱ ፡ ፡ የአመጸኞችም ፍጻሜ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ተመልከት ፡ ፡

" and verily ! every time i called unto them that you might forgive them , they thrust their fingers into their ears , covered themselves up with their garments , and persisted ( in their refusal ) , and magnified themselves in pride .
« እኔም ለእነርሱ ትምር ዘንድ ( ወደ እምነት ) በጠራኋቸው ቁጥር ጣቶቻቸውን በጆሮዎቻቸው ውስጥ አደረጉ ፡ ፡ ልብሶቻቸውንም ተከናነቡ ፡ ፡ ( በመጥፎ ሥራቸው ላይ ) ዘወተሩም ፡ ፡ ( ያለ ልክ ) መኩራትንም ኮሩ ፡ ፡
