‹ እነሆም ከሰዎች የኾኑ ወንዶች በጋኔን ወንዶች ይጠበቁ ነበሩ ፡ ፡ ኩራትንም ጨመሩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ›

' true , there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the jinns , but they increased them in folly .
‹ እነሆም ከሰዎች የኾኑ ወንዶች በጋኔን ወንዶች ይጠበቁ ነበሩ ፡ ፡ ኩራትንም ጨመሩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ›

as for the boy , his parents were faithful [ persons ] , and we feared he would overwhelm them with rebellion and unfaith .
« ወጣቱም ልጅማ ወላጆቹ ምእመናን ነበሩ ፡ ፡ ( ቢያድግ ) ትእቢትንና ክህደትንም የሚያስገድዳቸው መኾኑን ፈራን ፡ ፡

whom allah doth guide , - he is on the right path : whom he rejects from his guidance , - such are the persons who perish .
አላህ የሚያቀናው ሰው ቅን እርሱ ነው ፡ ፡ የሚያጠመውም ሰው እነዚያ ከሳሪዎቹ እነሱ ናቸው ፡ ፡
