دعْ لَيسَ الطريقَ إبقَ إنتِظارك

let not the words of deceivers lead you to doubt.
لا تدع كلمات المخادعين" ..تزرع الشك في نفسك

let not the kids starve. what have you brought to pawn?
لا تدعِ الأطفال يجوعون ماذا جلبتِ للرهن؟

let not the festival lose its' meaning
كى لا يفقد العيد بهجته

- let not the jatt (clan) have it!
-لا تدع 'الجات'(العشيرة) تتناوله !

- let not the enemy prevail against her.
اذهب إلي الجحيم لأجل لا تجد أي عدو يسيطر عليها

o mankind , indeed the promise of allah is truth , so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about allah by the deceiver .
« يا أيها الناس إن وعد الله » بالبعث وغيره « حق فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا » من الإيمان بذلك « ولا يغرنكم بالله » في حلمه وإمهاله « الغرور » الشيطان .

and let not the satan hinder you ; verily he is unto you an enemy manifest .
« ولا يصدنكم » يصرفنكم عن دين الله « الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبين » بيِّن العداوة .

let not the waves engulf me nor sea monsters devour me.
لا تدع الأمواج اجتاحت أو تؤكل من قبل الوحوش.

let not the free disposal ( and affluence ) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you .
ونزل لما قال المسلمون : أعداء الله فيما نري من الخير ونحن في الجهد : « لا يغرنك تقلُّب الذين كفروا » تصرُّفهم « في البلاد » بالتجارة والكسب .

let not the lord be angry and i will speak yet but this once:
لا يسخط المولى فاتكلم هذه المرة فقط

let not the disbelievers assume that they are ahead . they will not escape .
ونزل فيمن أفلت يوم بدر « ولا تحسبنَّ » يا محمد « الذين كفروا سبقوا » الله أي فأتوه « إنهم لا يعجزون » لا يفوتونه وفي قراءة بالتحتانية فالمفعول الأول محذوف أي أنفسهم وفي أخرى بفتح إن على تقدير اللام .

let not the arrogance of our justified achievements lull us into inaction for the future.
ولنعمــل على أﻻ ندع الغطرسة الناجمة عن إنجازاتنا المبررة تقعدنا عن العمل من أجل المستقبل.

let not the victims, and their close ones, go unmentioned in our report.
وينبغي ألا يفوتنا، في تقريرنا هذا، ذكر الضحايا وذكر من تربطهم بهم علاقات حميمة.

let not the royal bed of denmark... be a couch for luxury and damned incest.

people , the promise of allah is true , so do not let this present life delude you , and do not let the deluder ( satan ) delude you about allah .
« يا أيها الناس إن وعد الله » بالبعث وغيره « حق فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا » من الإيمان بذلك « ولا يغرنكم بالله » في حلمه وإمهاله « الغرور » الشيطان .

o mankind , fear your lord and fear a day when no father will avail his son , nor will a son avail his father at all . indeed , the promise of allah is truth , so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about allah by the deceiver .
« يا أيها الناس » أي أهل مكة « اتقوا ربكم واخشوْا يوما لا يجزي » يغني « والد عن ولده » فيه شيئا « ولا مولود عن هو جاز عن والده » فيه « شيئا إن وعد الله حقٌ » بالبعث « فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا » عن الإسلام « ولا يغرنكم بالله » في حلمه وإمهاله « الغرور » الشيطان .

o men , fear your lord , and dread a day when no father shall give satisfaction for his child , and no child shall give satisfaction for his father whatever . surely god 's promise is true ; so let not the present life delude you , and let not the deluder delude you concerning god .
« يا أيها الناس » أي أهل مكة « اتقوا ربكم واخشوْا يوما لا يجزي » يغني « والد عن ولده » فيه شيئا « ولا مولود عن هو جاز عن والده » فيه « شيئا إن وعد الله حقٌ » بالبعث « فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا » عن الإسلام « ولا يغرنكم بالله » في حلمه وإمهاله « الغرور » الشيطان .
