what, shall we make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers?
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ (ކިޔަމަންތެރި) مسلم ން (كافر ވި) ކުށްވެރިންނާ އެއްފަދަ ކުރައްވާނޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and we did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަކަށް އަނިޔާއެއް ނުކުރައްވަމެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު (ފާފަކުރުމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އަނިޔާވެރިންކަމުގައިވީ، ހަމަ އެއުރެންނެވެ.

‘muster the wrongdoers and their mates and what they used to worship
މިއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދުވަހަކާމެދު ދޮގުކޮށް އުޅުނު ނިޔާކުރެއްވުމުގެ ދުވަހެވެ.

they said, "exalted is our lord! indeed, we were wrongdoers."
އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، ހުސްطاهر ވަންތަކަމާއެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވީ އަނިޔާވެރިންކަމުގައެވެ.

they have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error."
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ގިނަބަޔަކު މަގުފުރެއްދޫއެވެ. އަނިޔާވެރިންނަށް މަގުފުރެދުން ނޫން އެހެންކަމެއް އިތުރު ނުކުރައްވާނދޭވެ!

sent in from your lord [for the profligate], never far from the wrongdoers.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ފާހަގަކުރައްވާފައިވާ ގޮތުގައެވެ. އަދި އަނިޔާވެރިންނާ ދުރުގައިވާ ކަމެއް ކަމުގައި އެކަންތައް ނުވެތެވެ.

it is no concern of yours whether he redeems them or punishes them. they are wrongdoers.
(އެއުރެންގެ) ކަންތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެއްވެސްކަމެއް، ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް މިލްކުވެގެނެއް ނުވެއެވެ. (އެކަންއޮތީ ހަމައެކަނި اللَّه އަށެވެ.) އެކަލާނގެ (އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ) އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް، توبة ލައްވައިފާނެތެވެ. ނުވަތަ، އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب ދެއްވައިފާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނީ އަނިޔާވެރިންނެވެ.

and we made known to him this decree that the wrongdoers were to be utterly cut off in the morning.
އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަންތައް ނިޔާކުރައްވައި އެންގެވީމެވެ. (އެއީ) ހަމަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނީ ފަތިސްވެގެންއަންނަ ވަގުތުގައި، މުލުން ކެނޑި ނެތިދާނޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.

and already they have led many astray. do not increase the wrongdoers in anything but error.’
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ގިނަބަޔަކު މަގުފުރެއްދޫއެވެ. އަނިޔާވެރިންނަށް މަގުފުރެދުން ނޫން އެހެންކަމެއް އިތުރު ނުކުރައްވާނދޭވެ!

certainly moses brought you manifest proofs, but then you took up the calf in his absence and you were wrongdoers.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ معجزات ތަކާއިގެން موسى ގެފާނު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެގާތަށް ވަޑައިގަތެވެ. ދެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ދުރަށްވަޑައިގަތުމަށްފަހު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، ގެރިއަކީ إله އަކު ކަމުގައި ބަލައިގެން އުޅުނީމުއެވެ. (އެއީ) އަނިޔާވެރި ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވާ حال ގައެވެ.

allah indeed knows whatever charity you may give, or vows that you may vow, and the wrongdoers have no helpers.
އަދި، ހޭދަކުރުމުގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރި ހޭދައެއް، ނުވަތަ، ނަދުރުގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގަތް ނަދުރެއް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. އަނިޔާވެރިންނަށް نصر ދޭނޭ އެއްވެސް ބަޔަކު ނުވެއެވެ.

and their declaration when our punishment came to them was only that they said, "indeed, we were wrongdoers!"
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އައިހިނދު، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެން އަނިޔާވެރިން ކަމުގައި ވެއްޖައީމުއޭ ބުނުން ނޫން އެހެން ބުނުމެއް، އެއުރެންގެ ނެތެވެ.
