Оё касеро, ки ҳукми азоб бар ӯ бароварда шуда, ту метавонӣ ӯро, ки дар оташ аст, бираҳонӣ?

Оё он кас, ки дар рӯзи қиёмат бо чеҳраи худ азоби сахти қиёматро аз худ бозмедорад, монанди касест ки биҳиштист?

how can he have a child, when there is for him no consort, when he created all things and is aware of all things?
Чӣ гуна Ӯро фарзанде бошад ва ҳол он ки Ӯро ҳамсаре нест. Ҳар чизеро Ӯ офаридааст ва ба ҳар чизе доност!

can he against whom the sentence of punishment has been justified (be rescued)? can you save him who is in the fire?
Оё касеро, ки ҳукми азоб бар ӯ бароварда шуда, ту метавонӣ ӯро, ки дар оташ аст, бираҳонӣ?

but they replied, "how can he be king over us when we are worthier of kingship than he and he has not even been granted an abundance of wealth?"
Гуфтанд: «Чӣ гуна ӯро бар мо подшоҳӣ бошад? Мо сазовортар аз ӯ ба подшоҳӣ ҳастем ва уро дороии чандоне надодаанд».

can he who was dead, to whom we gave life, and a light whereby he could walk among people be like him who is in utter darkness from which he can never emerge?
Оё он касе, ки мурда буд ва Мо зиндааш сохтем ва нуре дар роҳаш доштем, то ба он дар миёни мардум роҳи худро биёбад, монанди касест, ки ба торикӣ гирифтор аст ва роҳи берун шуданро намедонад?

then, can he, who is on a clear guidance from his lord, be like him whose evil deeds have been embellished to him, and who pursued their lusts?
Оё касе, ки аз ҷониби Парвардигораш далели равшане дорад, монанди касонест, ки кирдори бадашон дар назарашон ороста шуда ва аз паи ҳавоҳои худ мераванд?

can he who was dead, to whom we gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out?
Оё он касе, ки мурда буд ва Мо зиндааш сохтем ва нуре дар роҳаш доштем, то ба он дар миёни мардум роҳи худро биёбад, монанди касест, ки ба торикӣ гирифтор аст ва роҳи берун шуданро намедонад?

they said: "how can he exercise authority over us when we are better fitted than he to exercise authority, and he is not even gifted, with wealth in abundance?"
Гуфтанд: «Чӣ гуна ӯро бар мо подшоҳӣ бошад? Мо сазовортар аз ӯ ба подшоҳӣ ҳастем ва уро дороии чандоне надодаанд».

now, he to whom we have promised a good which he is going to obtain - can he be like him whom we have given the good things of this life, but who will be brought up for punishment on the day of judgement?
Оё он кас, ки ӯро ваъдаҳои нек додаем ва он ваъдаҳоро хоҳад дид, монанди касест, ки ӯро аз матоъи инҷаҳонӣ баҳраманд кардаем ва дар рӯзи қиёмат ҳам аз ҳозир карда шудагон аст?

"if any does not hearken to the one who invites (us) to allah, he cannot frustrate (allah's plan) on earth, and no protectors can he have besides allah: such men (wander) in manifest error."
Ва ҳар касе, ки ба ин даъваткунанда ҷавоб нагӯяд, наметавонад, дар рӯи замин аз Худо бигурезад ва ӯро ғайри Худо ҳеҷ ёваре нест ва дар гумроҳии ошкорест!»
