though you will not be questioned even if he never purifies himself.
ஆயினும் (இஸ்லாத்தை யேற்று) அவன் தூய்மையடையாமல் போனால், உம் மீது (அதனால் குற்றம்) இல்லை.

indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting islamic monotheism) shall achieve success,
தூய்மையடைந்தவன், திட்டமாக வெற்றி பெறுகிறான்.

gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. and that is the reward of one who purifies himself.
(அத்தகையவர்க்கு) என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் சுவனபதிகள் உண்டு அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும்; அவற்றில் அவர் என்றென்றும் வசிப்பர் இதுவே (பாவங்கள் நீங்கித்) தூய்மையானவர்களின் (நற்) கூலியாகும்.

even as we have sent among you an apostle from among you who recites to you our communications and purifies you and teaches you the book and the wisdom and teaches you that which you did not know.
இதே போன்று, நாம் உங்களிடையே உங்களிலிருந்து ஒரு தூதரை, நம் வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு எடுத்து ஓதுவதற்காகவும்; உங்களைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும்; உங்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொடுப்பதற்காகவும்; இன்னும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாமல் இருந்தவற்றை, உங்களுக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும் அனுப்பியுள்ளோம்.

have you not considered those who claim purity for themselves? rather, god purifies whom he wills, and they will not be wronged a whit.
(நபியே!) தங்களைத் தாங்களே பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள் என்(று கூறிக்கொள்)பவர்களை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? (அவர்கள் கூறுவதுபோல்) அல்ல! அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் ஆக்குவான். (இது விஷயத்தில்) எவரும் ஓர் அணுவளவும் அநியாயம் செய்யப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

even as we sent to you an apostle from among yourselves, who recites to you our signs and purifies you, and teaches you the book and wisdom, and teaches you what you did not know.
இதே போன்று, நாம் உங்களிடையே உங்களிலிருந்து ஒரு தூதரை, நம் வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு எடுத்து ஓதுவதற்காகவும்; உங்களைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும்; உங்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொடுப்பதற்காகவும்; இன்னும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாமல் இருந்தவற்றை, உங்களுக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும் அனுப்பியுள்ளோம்.

have you not considered those who attribute purity to themselves? nay, allah purifies whom he pleases; and they shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone.
(நபியே!) தங்களைத் தாங்களே பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள் என்(று கூறிக்கொள்)பவர்களை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? (அவர்கள் கூறுவதுபோல்) அல்ல! அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் ஆக்குவான். (இது விஷயத்தில்) எவரும் ஓர் அணுவளவும் அநியாயம் செய்யப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

hast thou not regarded those who purify themselves? nay; only god purifies whom he will; and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread.
(நபியே!) தங்களைத் தாங்களே பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள் என்(று கூறிக்கொள்)பவர்களை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? (அவர்கள் கூறுவதுபோல்) அல்ல! அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் ஆக்குவான். (இது விஷயத்தில்) எவரும் ஓர் அணுவளவும் அநியாயம் செய்யப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

(muhammad), have you seen those who try to purify themselves? they should know that god only purifies whomever he wants and that the slightest wrong will not be done to such people.
(நபியே!) தங்களைத் தாங்களே பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள் என்(று கூறிக்கொள்)பவர்களை நீர் பார்க்கவில்லையா? (அவர்கள் கூறுவதுபோல்) அல்ல! அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் ஆக்குவான். (இது விஷயத்தில்) எவரும் ஓர் அணுவளவும் அநியாயம் செய்யப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

[he] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself
(அவர் எத்தகையோரென்றால்) தம்மை தூய்மைப் படுத்தியவராகத் தம் பொருளை (இறைவன் பாதையில்) கொடுக்கிறார்.
