taj su natpis èitali mnogi Židovi jer mjesto gdje je isus bio raspet bijaše blizu grada, a bilo je napisano hebrejski, latinski i grèki.
this title then read many of the jews: for the place where jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in hebrew, and greek, and latin.

isus im odgovori: "zar nikad niste èitali što uèini david kad ogladnje te se naðe u potrebi on i njegovi pratioci?
and he said unto them, have ye never read what david did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?

a što se tièe mrtvih, da ustaju, niste li èitali u knjizi mojsijevoj ono o grmu, kako mojsiju reèe bog: ja sam bog abrahamov i bog izakov i bog jakovljev?
and as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of moses, how in the bush god spake unto him, saying, i am the god of abraham, and the god of isaac, and the god of jacob?

kaže im isus: "zar nikada niste èitali u pismima: kamen što ga odbaciše graditelji postade kamen zaglavni. gospodnje je to djelo - kakvo èudo u oèima našim!
jesus saith unto them, did ye never read in the scriptures, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
