ابراہیم علیھ السّلامنے کہا کہ خدا آپ کو سلامت رکھے میں عنقریب اپنے رب سے آپ کے لئے مغفرت طلب کروں گا کہ وہ میرے حال پر بہت مہربان ہے
'peace be on you' he (abraham) said, 'i shall call upon my lord to forgive you, for to me he has been gracious.

اے پیغمبر آپ اس حکم کو پہنچادیں جو آپ کے پروردگار کی طرف سے نازل کیا گیا ہے اور اگر آپ نے یہ نہ کیا تو گویا اس کے پیغام کو نہیں پہنچایا اور خدا آپ کو لوگوں کے شر سے محفوظ رکھے گا کہ اللہ کافروں کی ہدایت نہیں کرتا ہے
messenger, preach what is revealed to you from your lord. if you will not preach, it would be as though you have not conveyed my message. god protects you from men. he does not guide the unbelieving people.

and if they desire to trick thee, god is sufficient for thee; he has confirmed thee with his help, and with the believers,

اور (وہ وقت یاد کرو) جب فرشتوں نے کہا اے مریم! بے شک خدا آپ کو اپنے کلمہ کی خوشخبری دیتا ہے۔ جس کا نام مسیح عیسیٰ بن مریم ہوگا۔ جو دنیا و آخرت میں عزت و آبرو والا ہوگا۔ اور (خدا کے) مقرب بندوں میں سے ہوگا۔
"behold," the angels told mary, "god has given you the glad news of the coming birth of a son whom he calls his word, whose name will be messiah, jesus, son of mary, who will be a man of honor in this life and the life to come, and who will be one of the ones nearest to god.
