"but this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!"

waxaadse u malayseen inayan rasuulka iyo mu'miniinta u soo noqonnaynin ehelkooda waligood, saasaana loogu qurxiyay qalbigiinna, waxaadna ahaateen kuwo halaagsamay.
"nay, but you thought that the messenger (saw) and the believers would never return to their families; and that was made fair-seeming in their hearts, and you did think an evil thought and you became a useless people going for destruction."

ma waxaad u malayseen in laydinka tegi isagoon eebe muujin kuwa jahaaday oo idinka mida oon ka yeelanin wax ka soo hadhay eebe iyo rasuulkiisa iyo mu'miniinta saaxiib, eebana waa ogyahay waxaad falaysaan.
are you under the illusion that you would be left just like this, whereas allah has not yet made known those of you who will fight and not confide their secrets with anyone except allah and his noble messenger and the muslims? and allah is well aware of your deeds.
