el llamaba a onésimo miembro de la iglesia en colosas, uno que pertenecía a ellos, y que como tíquico podía informarles de su situación personal.

pablo no envió sólo esta carta con tíquico a colosas, sino también una segunda carta a laodicea, la iglesia vecina. pablo recomienda a los colosenses que visitaran a los creyentes de la iglesia vecina, los saludaran de parte de él y compartieran entre ellos.
paul not only sent the letter to the church in colosse with tychikus, but also a second letter to the neighbouring church in laodicea. paul recommended they visit the members of the neighbouring church, pass on greetings from him, and for the two churches to have a mutual exchange.

but that you also may know my affairs, how i am doing, tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the lord, will make known to you all things; whom i have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts.
