na mkayaacha nyuma yenu yote tuliyo kupeni, na wala hatuwaoni hao waombezi wenu, ambao mlidai kuwa ni washirika wa mwenyezi mungu kwenu.
we do not see your intercessors with you—those whom you claimed to be [our] partners in [deciding] you[r] [fate].

au ndio wanachukua waombezi badala ya mwenyezi mungu? sema: ingawa hawana mamlaka juu ya kitu chochote, wala hawatambui lolote?
say: 'what, even though they have no power whatever and no understanding?'

nanyi mlitujia wapweke kama tulivyo kuumbeni mara ya kwanza. na mkayaacha nyuma yenu yote tuliyo kupeni, na wala hatuwaoni hao waombezi wenu, ambao mlidai kuwa ni washirika wa mwenyezi mungu kwenu.
(and allah will say): 'now you have come to us all alone even as we had created you in the first instance, and you have left behind all that we had bestowed upon you in the world. we do not see with you your intercessors whom you imagined to have a share with allah in your affairs.

na mkayaacha nyuma yenu yote tuliyo kupeni, na wala hatuwaoni hao waombezi wenu, ambao mlidai kuwa ni washirika wa mwenyezi mungu kwenu. yamekatika makhusiano baina yenu, na yamekupoteeni mliyo kuwa mkidai.
"and behold! ye come to us bare and alone as we created you for the first time: ye have left behind you all (the favours) which we bestowed on you: we see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs: so now all relations between you have been cut off, and your (pet) fancies have left you in the lurch!"

nao, badala ya mwenyezi mungu, wanaabudu wasio wadhuru wala kuwanufaisha, na wanasema: hawa ndio waombezi wetu kwa mwenyezi mungu! sema: je!
(some people) worship things other than god which harm nor benefit them. they say, "these (idols) are our intercessors before god."
