मेरे दरवाजे पर एक विशालकाय आया

and there came a voice to him, rise, peter; kill, and eat.
और उसे एक ऐसा शब्द सुनाई दिया, कि हे पतरस उठ, मार के खा।

but he did not move , even when there came a quiet knock at the door .
दरवाज़े पर खटखटाहट हुई , किन्तु वह वैसे ही बिना हिले - डुले लेटा रहा ।

there came a man, sent from god, whose name was john.
एक मनुष्य परमेश्वर की ओर से आ उपस्थित हुआ जिस का नाम यूहन्ना था।

there came a shoal of big fishes eyeing them hungrily .
बड़ी मछलियों का एक झुंड आया और भूखी निगाहों से उन्हें ताकने लगा ।

and there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, this is my beloved son: hear him.
और उस बादल में से यह शब्द निकला, कि यह मेरा पुत्रा और मेरा चुना हुआ है, इस की सुनो।

तब किसी ने दाऊद के पास जाकर यह समाचार दिया, कि इस्राएली मनुष्यों के मन अबशालोम की ओर हो गए हैं।

और यह आकाशवाणी हई, कि तू मेरा प्रिय पुत्रा है, तुझ से मैं प्रसन्न हूं।।

तब एक दूत अरयूब के पास आकर कहने लगा, हम तो बैलों से हल जोत रहे थे, और गदहियां उनके पास चर रही थी,

और शहर के उस सिरे से एक शख्स दौड़ता हुआ आया और कहने लगा कि ऐ मेरी क़ौम पैग़म्बरों का कहना मानो

तब एक दूत अरयूब के पास आकर कहने लगा, हम तो बैलों से हल जोत रहे थे, और गदहियां उनके पास चर रही थी,

and there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
और एक कोढ़ी ने उसके पास आकर, उस से बिनती की, और उसके साम्हने घुटने टेककर, उस से कहा; यदि तू चाहे तो मुझे शुद्ध कर सकता है।

and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
और एकाएक आकाश से बड़ी आंधी की सी सनसनाहट का शब्द हुआ, और उस से सारा घर जहां वे बैठे थे, गूंज गया।

and, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
और देखो, एक कोढ़ी ने पास आकर उसे प्रणाम किया और कहा; कि हे प्रभु यदि तू चाहे, तो मुझे शुद्ध कर सकता है।

and when paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
जब पौलुस ने लकड़ियों का गट्ठा बटोरकर आग पर रखा, तो एक सांप आंच पाकर निकला और उसके हाथ से लिपट गया।

परन्तु परमेश्वर के एक जन ने उसके पास आकर कहा, हे राजा इस्राएल की सेना तेरे साथ जाने न पाए; क्योंकि यहोवा इस्राएल अर्थात् एप्रैम की कुल सन्तान के संग नहीं रहता।

दाऊद ने शाऊल से कहा, तेरा दास अपने पिता की भेड़ बकरियां चराता था; और जब कोई सिंह वा भालू झुंड में से मेम्ना उठा ले गया,

and behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young men, and they are dead. i alone have escaped to tell you."
कि जंगल की ओर से बड़ी प्रचणड वायु चली, और घर के चारों कोनों को ऐसा झोंका मारा, कि वह जवानों पर गिर पड़ा और वे मर गए; और मैं ही अकेला बचकर तुझे समाचार देने को आया हूँ।

and there came a fear on all: and they glorified god, saying, that a great prophet is risen up among us; and, that god hath visited his people.
इस से सब पर भय छा गया; और वे परमेश्वर की बड़ाई करके कहने लगे कि हमारे बीच में एक बड़ा भविष्यद्वक्ता उठा है, और परमेश्वर ने अपने लोगों पर कृपा दृष्टि की है।
