if any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

then she runneth, and cometh to simon peter, and to the other disciple, whom jesus loved, and saith unto them, they have taken away the lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

tiu discxiplo, kiun jesuo amis, diris al petro:gxi estas la sinjoro. kiam do simon petro auxdis, ke gxi estas la sinjoro, li alzonis al si sian kitelon (cxar li estis nuda) kaj jxetis sin en la maron.
therefore that disciple whom jesus loved saith unto peter, it is the lord. now when simon peter heard that it was the lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
