pētnieks nekavējoties informē sponsoru par visiem nopietniem nevēlamiem notikumiem, izņemot tos, kurus protokols vai pētnieka brošūra nenosaka kā notikumu, kas pieprasa tūlītēju ziņošanu.
the investigator shall report all serious adverse events immediately to the sponsor except for those that the protocol or investigator's brochure identifies as not requiring immediate reporting.

kļūstot pieejamai jaunai drošuma informācijai, pētnieka brošūru atjaunina; vispār to atjaunina vismaz reizi gadā.
the investigator’s brochure shall be updated where new safety information becomes available, and at least once per year.

"neparedzēta blakne": nelabvēlīga reakcija, kuras būtība vai smagums nav atbilstīgs piemērojamo zāļu informācijai (t.i., pētnieka brošūra neatļautam izpētei pakļautām zālēm vai zāļu īss raksturojums atļautām zālēm).
"unexpected adverse reaction": an adverse reaction, the nature or severity of which is not consistent with the applicable product information (e.g. investigator's brochure for an unauthorised investigational product or summary of product characteristics for an authorised product).

p) "neparedzēta blakne": nelabvēlīga reakcija, kuras būtība vai smagums nav atbilstīgs piemērojamo zāļu informācijai (t.i., pētnieka brošūra neatļautam izpētei pakļautām zālēm vai zāļu īss raksturojums atļautām zālēm).
(p) "unexpected adverse reaction": an adverse reaction, the nature or severity of which is not consistent with the applicable product information (e.g. investigator's brochure for an unauthorised investigational product or summary of product characteristics for an authorised product).
