libazele indlebe izwi lokuzibika kwam, kumkani wam, thixo wam; ngokuba ndithandaza kuwe.

help me, o lord my god: o save me according to thy mercy:

think upon me, my god, for good, according to all that i have done for this people.

ndikhumbule, thixo wam, ngenxa yoko; musa ukuzicima iinceba zam, endizenzileyo endlwini kathixo wam, nasezigxineni zayo.
remember me, o my god, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that i have done for the house of my god, and for the offices thereof.

wanqula uyehova, wathi, yehova thixo wam, umenzele ububi nomhlolokazi lo na ndiphambukele kuye, ngokubulala unyana wakhe?
and he cried unto the lord, and said, o lord my god, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom i sojourn, by slaying her son?

lithethe ityala lam ngokobulungisa bakho, yehova thixo wam; mabangandivuyeleli;
judge me, o lord my god, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

yehova, ngxondorha yam, mboniselo yam, msindisi wam, thixo wam, liwa lam endizimela ngalo, ngweletshetshe yam, luphondo losindiso lwam, ngxonde yam!
the lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my god, my strength, in whom i will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

ngalo ilixa lesithoba, wadanduluka uyesu ngezwi elikhulu, esithi, eloyi! eloyi! lama sabhaktani? oko kukuthi ngentetho evakalayo, thixo wam! thixo wam! undishiyeleni na?

bheka undiphendule, yehova, thixo wam; khanyisa amehlo am, hleze ndilale ukufa;
consider and hear me, o lord my god: lighten mine eyes, lest i sleep the sleep of death;

wugcine umphefumlo wam, ngokuba ndingowenceba; msindise, wena thixo wam, umkhonzi wakho, lo ukholose ngawe.
preserve my soul; for i am holy: o thou my god, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

ndiya kuyibulela nokuyibulela kuwe ngomrhubhe inyaniso yakho, thixo wam; ndiya kukubethela uhadi, ngcwele kasirayeli.
i will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, o my god: unto thee will i sing with the harp, o thou holy one of israel.

wazolula phezu komntwana izihlandlo zazithathu, wanqula uyehova, wathi, yehova thixo wam, mawukhe ubuyele phakathi kwakhe umphefumlo walo mntwana.

have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, o lord my god, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee:

noko ke kunonelele ukuthandaza komkhonzi wakho, nokutarhuzisa kwakhe, yehova thixo wam, ukuphulaphule ukumemelela nokuthandaza, athandaza ngako umkhonzi wakho phambi kwakho namhla;
yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, o lord my god, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:
