zpronevěřili jsme se tobě, a neostříhali jsme přikázaní a ustanovení a soudů, kteréž jsi vydal skrze mojžíše služebníka svého.

8 remember, i beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant moses , saying, if ye transgress, i will scatter you abroad among the nations:
8 budiž pamětliv, prosím, na slovo, kteréž jsi přikázal mojžíšovi služebníku svému, řka: vy přestoupíte, já pak rozptýlím vás mezi národy.

i spake unto them only that which thou commandedst me, (saying): worship allah, my lord and your lord. i was a witness of them while i dwelt among them, and when thou tookest me thou wast the watcher over them.
neříkal jsem jim ničeho jiného, než cos nakázal mně: ‚vzývejte boha, pána mého a pána vašeho!‘ dokud žil jsem mezi nimi na zemi, mohl jsem svědčiti proti nim ohledně skutků jejich, však poté, když vzal's mne k sobě, sám byl's dohlížitelem nad nimi, neboť tys všech věcí svědkem.
