a pescara in particolare, ma in tutte le località del litorale, si trovano oltre al pesce sempre fresco occasioni di incontro con altri cibi e piatti di grande interesse come le «scrippelle in brodo o al tartufo», le «mazzarelle d'agnello» mentre, per rimanere nell'ambito del pesce, ricordiamo: il «baccalà mollicato», lessato parzialmente e successivamente passato in tegame a terminare la cottura con aggiunta di aglio, olio, prezzemolo, origano e la «coda di rospo al rosmarino», tipico piatto del pescarese: il pesce viene tagliato a fette che vengono cotte lentamente con olio, aglio, rosmarino, con l'aggiunta di peperoncino.
