in realtà questa non è una vera notizia, altri vendor stanno lavorando sulla stessa idea (ad esempio dell sta sviluppando una soluzione con l’acquisita rna networks e emc, nella roadmap della sua vfcache, va nella stessa direzione). la differenza qui è che questo è il primo (vero) prodotto che lo fa indipendentemente dall’array (o da chi produce le flash) e con tutte quelle caratteristiche che ti potresti aspettare da un prodotto enterprise.
actually this isn’t news, many vendors are working on it (e.g. dell is working on a similar solution with the acquired rna networks and emc has a vfcache roadmap that is going in that direction), but this is the first product to do this independently from the array (or the flash manufacturer) and with the kind of features you can expect at the enterprise level.
