and have sent down from the clouds, pouring rain
Аз абрҳои боронзой обе фаровон нозил кардем,

and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and
ва савганд ба фариштагоне, ки шиноваранд

and brought down from the clouds pouring water?
Аз абрҳои боронзой обе фаровон нозил кардем,

by the ones who drive [the clouds] vigorously,
савганд ба он фариштагон, ки абрҳоро меронанд,

and do we not send down from the clouds water in abundance,
Аз абрҳои боронзой обе фаровон нозил кардем,

(the clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them).
Ва он азоби рӯзе бузург буд!

and (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water;
савганд, ба абрҳои гаронбор,

by the scattering [winds] that scatter [the clouds];
Савганд ба бодҳое, ки хок пароканда мекунанд,

by those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way.
савганд ба он фариштагон, ки абрҳоро меронанд,

it is god who sends forth the winds so that they raise up the clouds.
Худост, ки бодҳоро фиристод то абрҳоро биронанд.

is it you who brought it down from the clouds or is it we who brought it down?
Оё шумо онро аз абр фурӯд меоред ё Мо фурӯд орандагонем?.

is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it we who bring it down?
Оё шумо онро аз абр фурӯд меоред ё Мо фурӯд орандагонем?.

he it is who sheweth the lightning unto you for fear and for desire, and bringeth up the clouds heavy.
Ӯст, ки барқро гоҳ барои тарсонидан ва гоҳ барои умед бахшидан ба шумо менамоёнад ва абрҳои гаронборро падид меоварад.

a day when the heaven with the clouds will be rent asunder and the angels will be sent down, a grand descent.
Рӯзе, ки осмон бо абрҳо мешикофад ва фариштагон бар замин поён фиристода шаванд,

are they waiting for allah to come to them in the shadows of the clouds with the angels! their matter will have been settled then.
Оё инҳо мунтазири он ҳастанд, ки Худо бо фариштагон дар зери соябоне аз абр наздашон биёяд ва кор яксара шавад?

await they only that allah shall come unto them in the shadows of the clouds, and also the angels, and the affair is decreed!
Оё инҳо мунтазири он ҳастанд, ки Худо бо фариштагон дар зери соябоне аз абр наздашон биёяд ва кор яксара шавад?

and it is allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and we drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness.
Худост, ки бодҳоро фиристод то абрҳоро биронанд. Ва Мо онҳоро ба сарзаминҳои мурда меронем ва замини мурдаро ба он зинда мекунем.
