Бигӯ: «Агар ба он чӣ мегӯед, бовар доред, боваратон шуморо ба бадкорӣ вомедорад!».

and whatsoever of affliction befalleth you is owing to that which your hands have earned; and he pardoneth much.
Агар шуморо мусибате расад, ба хотири корҳоест, ки кардаед. Ва Худо бисёре аз гуноҳонро афв мекунад.

say: "worst indeed is that which your faith enjoins on you if you are believers."
Бигӯ: «Агар ба он чӣ мегӯед, бовар доред, боваратон шуморо ба бадкорӣ вомедорад!».

allah will not take you to task for that which is unintentional in your oaths. but he will take you to task for that which your hearts have garnered.
Худо шуморо ба сабаби савгандҳои беҳудаатон бозхост намекунад, балки ба хотири нияте, ки дар дил ниҳон медоред, бозхост мекунад.

allah shall not take you to task for the vain in your oaths; but he shall take you to task for that which your oaths make binding.
Худованд шуморо ба сабаби савгандҳои беҳудаатон бозхост нахоҳад кард.

"this is because of that which your hands had forwarded. and verily, allah is not unjust to his slaves."
Ин ба ҷазои корҳое буд, ки пеш аз ин карда будед ва Худо ба бандагонаш ситам кунанда нест,

your wives are your tilth: so you may go to your tilth as you please, but you should take care of your future and refrain from the displeasure of allah.
Занатон киштзори шумо ҳастанд. Ҳар ҷо, ки хоҳед, ба киштзори худ дароед.

allah does not take you to task for oaths which are made unintentionally but he does take you to task for deeds which your hearts have done; and allah is oft forgiving, most forbearing.
Худо шуморо ба сабаби савгандҳои беҳудаатон бозхост намекунад, балки ба хотири нияте, ки дар дил ниҳон медоред, бозхост мекунад. Худо омурзанда ва бурдбор аст!

and say not concerning that which your tongues put forth falsely: "this is lawful and this is forbidden," so as to invent lies against allah.
То бар Худо дурӯғ бофед, барои ҳар дурӯғ, ки бар забонатон меояд, нагӯед, ки ин ҳалол асту ин ҳаром.

and the fellows of the garden shall cry unto the fellows of the fire: surely we have found true that which our lord had promised us; have ye found true that which your lord had promised you?
Биҳиштиён дузахиёнро овоз диҳанд, ки мо ба ҳақиқат ёфтем он чиро, ки Парвардигорамон ваъда дода буд, оё шумо низ ба ҳақиқат ёфтаед он чиро, ки Парвардигоратон ваъда дода буд?

"this is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: for allah never harms those who serve him."
Ин ҷазои амалҳоест, ки пешопеш ба ҷой овардед вагарна Худованд ба бандагонаш ситам раво намедорад.

"because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth; for allah is never unjust to his servants:
Ин ба ҷазои корҳое буд, ки пеш аз ин карда будед ва Худо ба бандагонаш ситам кунанда нест,

o ye who believe! allah shall surely prove you with aught of the chases which your hands and your lances may reach, in order that allah may know whosoever feareth him unseen; so whosoever shall trespass thereafter, for him is a torment afflictive.
Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, Худо шуморо ба сайде, ки ба даст мегиред ё ба найза шикор мекунед, меозмояд, то бидонад чӣ касе дар ниҳон аз Ӯ метарсад. Ва ҳар кӣ аз ин пас аз ҳад таҷовуз кунад, ӯрост азобе дардовар.

(rest assured that) allah has full power over everything: establish the salat and pay the zakat. you will find with allah whatever good you send forward for your future; allah is watching everything you do.
Ҳар некиро, ки пешопеш барои худ равона медоред, назди Худояш хоҳед ёфт. Албатта Худо ба корҳое, ки мекунед биност.
