அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சியவராக-

surely those who live in awe of their lord,
நிச்சயமாக, எவாகள் தம் இறைவனிடம் அஞ்சுபவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களும்-

for him who stands in awe of his lord will be two gardens.
தன் இறைவனின் முன் (விசாரணைக்காக மறுமையில்) நிற்க வேண்டுமென்பதைப் பயந்தவனுக்கு இரு சுவர்க்கச் சோலைகள் இருக்கின்றன.

lo! those who go in awe for fear of their lord.
நிச்சயமாக, எவாகள் தம் இறைவனிடம் அஞ்சுபவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களும்-

that i may direct you to your lord and then you hold him in awe?'”
"அப்படியானால் இறைவனிடம் (செல்லும்) வழியை நான் உனக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்; அப்போது நீ உள்ளச்சமுடையவன் ஆவாய்" (எனக் கூறுமாறு இறைவன் பணித்தான்).

இன்னும் எவர்கள் தம் இறைவனிடம் தாங்கள் திரும்பிச் செல்லவேண்டியவர்கள் என்று அஞ்சும் நெஞ்சத்தினராய் (நாம் கொடுத்ததிலிருந்து) தங்களால் இயன்ற மட்டும் (அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில்) கொடுக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களும்-

தன் இறைவனின் முன் (விசாரணைக்காக மறுமையில்) நிற்க வேண்டுமென்பதைப் பயந்தவனுக்கு இரு சுவர்க்கச் சோலைகள் இருக்கின்றன.

and those who join that which allah has bidden to be joined and have awe of their lord and fear the evil reckoning.
மேலும், அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால் அல்லாஹ் எது சேர்த்துவைக்கப் படவேண்டும் எனக் கட்டளையிட்டானோ, அதைச் சேர்த்து வைப்பார்கள்; இன்னும் அவர்கள் தம் இறைவனுக்கு அஞ்சவார்கள்; மேலும் (மறுமை நாளின்) கடுமையான கேள்வி கணக்கைக் குறித்தும் பயப்படுவார்கள்.

allah hath said: choose not two gods. there is only one allah. so of me, me only, be in awe.
இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் கூறுகின்றான்; இரண்டு தெய்வங்களை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாதீர்கள்; நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) அவன் ஒரே நாயன்தான்! என்னையே நீங்கள் அஞ்சங்கள்.

(adhere to the true faith and) turn to him, and hold him in awe, and establish prayer, and do not be of those who associate others with allah in his divinity,
நீங்கள் அவன் பக்கமே திரும்பியவர்களாக இருங்கள்; அவனிடம் பயபக்தியுடன் நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; தொழுகையையும் நிலை நிறுத்துங்கள்; இன்னும் இணைவைப்போரில் நீங்களும் ஆகி விடாதீர்கள்.
