Худо тангдастӣ диҳад ва тавонгарӣ бахшад ва шумо ба сӯи Ӯ бозгардонда мешавед!

Худо ҳар киро хоҳад, рӯзии бисёр диҳад ё рӯзии андак.

Дар рӯзии ҳар кӣ бихоҳад, кушоиш медиҳад ё танг мегирад ва Ӯ ба ҳар чизе доност!

know they not that allah enlargeth providence for whom he will, and straiteneth it (for whom he will).
Оё ҳанӯз надонистаанд, ки Худост, ки рӯзии ҳар касро, ки бихоҳад афзун месозад ё тангрӯзиаш мекунад?

see they not that allah enlargeth the provision for whom he will, and straiteneth (it for whom he will).
Оё намебинанд, ки Худо рӯзии ҳар касро, ки бихоҳад, фаровон мекунад ё ӯро тангрӯзӣ месозад?

say: lo! my lord enlargeth the provision for whom he will of his bondmen, and narroweth (it) for him.
Бигӯ: «Парвардигори ман аст, ки рӯзии ҳар кӣ аз бандагонашро, ки бихоҳад, фаровон мекунад ё ӯро ба тангӣ меафканад».

say (o muhammad): lo! my lord enlargeth the provision for whom he will and narroweth it (for whom he will).
Бигӯ: «Парвардигори ман аст, ки рӯзии ҳар касро, ки бихоҳад, фаровон мекунад ва бар ҳар кӣ бихоҳад, танг мегирад.

allah enlargeth livelihood for whom he will, and straiteneth (it for whom he will); and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of the world is but brief comfort as compared with the hereafter.
Худо ҳар киро хоҳад, рӯзии бисёр диҳад ё рӯзии андак. Ва мардум ба зиндагии дунё хушнуданд, ҳол он ки зиндагии дунё дар баробари зиндагии охират ҷуз андак матоъе нест.

and morning found those who had coveted his place but yesterday crying: ah, welladay! allah enlargeth the provision for whom he will of his slaves and straiteneth it (for whom he will).
Рӯзи дигар он касон, ки дирӯз орзӯ мекарданд, ки ба ҷои ӯ мебуданд, мегуфтанд: «Аҷабо, ки Худо рӯзии ҳар касро, ки хоҳад фаровон кунад ё танг созад.
