انہیں اپنے جذبات کو قابو میں لانا پڑے گا جس کی وجہ سے قیمتی جانوں کا نقصان ہوا.

have we not made the earth as a place to rest
کیا ہم نے زمین کا فرش نہیں بنایا ہے

or by the night in which things all come together to rest,
اور اس کی جمع کرده چیزوں کی قسم

i’m one of the rare people who don’t know how to quit
میں ان نایاب لوگوں میں سے ایک ہوں جو نہیں جانتے کہ چھوڑنے کا طریقہ کیا ہے۔

and there is beauty in them for you, when you bring them home to rest and when you drive them forth abroad to pasture;
اور ان (چوپاؤں) میں تمہارے لئے زیب و زینت بھی ہے جب شام کو واپس لاتے ہو اور صبح جب (چراگاہ کی طرف) لے جاتے ہو (اس وقت ان کا منظر کیسا خوش آئند ہوتا ہے)۔

"evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in";
اور دوزخ ٹھیرنے اور رہنے کی بہت بری جگہ ہے

hell! where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest!
(وہ) دوزخ ہے، اس میں وہ داخل ہوں گے، سو بہت ہی بُرا بچھونا ہے،

it is he who made for you the night to rest therein and the day, giving sight. indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.
وه ایسا ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے رات بنائی تاکہ تم اس میں آرام کرو اور دن بھی اس طور پر بنایا کہ دیکھنے بھالنے کا ذریعہ ہے، تحقیق اس میں دﻻئل ہیں ان لوگوں کے لیے جو سنتے ہیں

those who rest not their hope on their meeting with us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not our signs,-
البتہ جو لوگ ہم سے ملنے کی امید نہیں رکھتے اور دنیاکی زندگی پر خوش ہوئے اور اسی پر مطمئن ہو گئے اور جو لوگ ہماری نشانیوں سے غافل ہیں

say (o muhammad saw) to those who disbelieve: "you will be defeated and gathered together to hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest."
(اے رسول!) کافروں سے کہہ دو کہ عنقریب تم (اہل اسلام کے مقابلہ میں) مغلوب ہوگے اور جہنم کی طرف محشور ہوگے اور وہ کیا بری آرام گاہ ہے۔
