(இன்னும்) தாங்கள் விரும்பதவைகளை (பெண் மக்களை) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு உண்டென்று (கற்பனையாக) ஏற்படுத்துகிறார்கள். நிச்சயமாகத் தங்களுக்கு (இதனால்) நன்மையே கிட்டுமென அவர்களுடைய நாவுகள் பொய்யுரைக்கின்றான் நிச்சயமாக அவர்களுக்கு (நரக) நெருப்புத் தான் இருக்கிறது இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அதில் முற்படுத்தப்படுவார்கள் என்பதிலும் சந்தேகமில்லை.

and indeed we destroyed several generations before you when they crossed the limits – and their respective noble messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as would believe; this is how we reward the guilty.
(மனிதர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினர்களை, அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்த போது நிச்சயமாக நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம்; அவர்களிடம் அவர்களுடைய (இறை) தூதர்கள் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; எனினும் அவர்கள் நம்பவில்லை - குற்றம் செய்யும் மக்களுக்கு நாம் இவ்வாறு கூலி கொடுக்கின்றோம்.

and restrain yourself along with those who pray to their lord morning and evening, seeking his pleasure; and may not your sight fall on anything besides them; would you desire the adornment of the life of this world? and do not follow him whose heart we have made neglectful of our remembrance – the one who has followed his own desires and his matter has crossed the limits.
(நபியே!) எவர் தம் இறைவனுடைய திருப்பொருத்த்தை நாடியவர்களாக காலையிலும், மாலையிலும் அவனைப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுடன் நீரும் பொறுமையை மேற் கொண்டிருப்பீராக! இன்னும் உலக வாழ்க்கையின் அலங்காரத்தை நாடி அ(த்தகைய)வர்களை விட்டும் உம் இரு கண்களையும் திருப்பி விடாதீர்; இன்னும், எவனுடைய இதயத்தை நம்மை நினைவு கூர்வதிலிருந்து நாம் திருப்பி விட்டோமோ அவனை நீர் வழிபடாதீர்; ஏனெனில் அவன்தன் இச்சையைப் பின் பற்றியதனால் அவனுடைய காரியம் வரம்பு மீறியமாகி விட்டது.
