when he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

사 랑 하 는 자 여 ! 악 한 것 을 본 받 지 말 고 선 한 것 을 본 받 으 라 선 을 행 하 는 자 는 하 나 님 께 속 하 고 악 을 행 하 는 자 는 하 나 님 을 뵈 옵 지 못 하 였 느 니
beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. he that doeth good is of god: but he that doeth evil hath not seen god.

또 이 르 시 되 나 는 네 조 상 의 하 나 님 이 니 아 브 라 함 의 하 나 님, 이 삭 의 하 나 님, 야 곱 의 하 나 님 이 니 라 모 세 가 하 나 님 뵈 옵 기 를 두 려 워 하 여 얼 굴 을 가 리 우
moreover he said, i am the god of thy father, the god of abraham, the god of isaac, and the god of jacob. and moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon god.

저 희 가 갈 릴 리 벳 새 다 사 람 빌 립 에 게 가 서 청 하 여 가 로 되 ` 선 생 이 여, 우 리 가 예 수 를 뵈 옵 고 자 하 나 이 다' 하
the same came therefore to philip, which was of bethsaida of galilee, and desired him, saying, sir, we would see jesus.
