there is no peace, saith my god, to the wicked.

我 哀 號 求 救 、 他 使 我 的 禱 告 、 不 得 上 達
also when i cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

因 我 的 仇 敵 不 得 向 我 誇 勝 ． 我 從 此 便 知 道 你 喜 愛 我
by this i know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

然 後 我 要 將 我 的 手 收 回 、 你 就 得 見 我 的 背 、 卻 不 得 見 我 的 面
and i will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

神 用 籬 笆 攔 住 我 的 道 路 、 使 我 不 得 經 過 ． 又 使 我 的 路 徑 黑 暗
he hath fenced up my way that i cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.

你 可 以 掌 管 我 的 家 、 我 的 民 都 必 聽 從 你 的 話 、 惟 獨 在 寶 座 上 我 比 你 大
thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will i be greater than thou.

他 們 斷 不 得 看 見 我 向 他 們 的 祖 宗 所 起 誓 應 許 之 地 、 凡 藐 視 我 的 、 一 個 也 不 得 看 見
surely they shall not see the land which i sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

我 豈 缺 少 瘋 子 、 你 們 帶 這 人 來 在 我 面 前 瘋 癲 麼 ． 這 人 豈 可 進 我 的 家 呢
have i need of mad men, that ye have brought this fellow to play the mad man in my presence? shall this fellow come into my house?

使 我 平 平 安 安 的 回 到 我 父 親 的 家 、 我 就 必 以 耶 和 華 為 我 的 神
so that i come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the lord be my god:

你 起 來 、 下 到 狺 匠 的 家 裡 去 、 我 在 那 裡 要 使 你 聽 我 的 話
arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there i will cause thee to hear my words.

我 必 從 你 們 中 間 除 淨 叛 逆 和 得 罪 我 的 人 、 將 他 們 從 所 寄 居 的 地 方 領 出 來 、 他 們 卻 不 得 入 以 色 列 地 ． 你 們 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華
and i will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: i will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of israel: and ye shall know that i am the lord.

你 對 僕 人 說 、 你 們 的 小 兄 弟 若 不 與 你 們 一 同 下 來 、 你 們 就 不 得 再 見 我 的 面
and thou saidst unto thy servants, except your youngest brother come down with you, ye shall see my face no more.

巴 不 得 你 像 我 的 兄 弟 、 像 喫 我 母 親 奶 的 兄 弟 ． 我 在 外 頭 遇 見 你 、 就 與 你 親 嘴 ． 誰 也 不 輕 看 我
o that thou wert as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when i should find thee without, i would kiss thee; yea, i should not be despised.

我 素 常 在 你 們 中 間 來 往 、 傳 講 神 國 的 道 、 如 今 我 曉 得 你 們 以 後 都 不 得 再 見 我 的 面 了
and now, behold, i know that ye all, among whom i have gone preaching the kingdom of god, shall see my face no more.

你 用 口 吹 角 罷 ． 敵 人 如 鷹 來 攻 打 耶 和 華 的 家 、 因 為 這 民 違 背 我 的 約 、 干 犯 我 的 律 法
set the trumpet to thy mouth. he shall come as an eagle against the house of the lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

就 求 告 耶 和 華 、 說 、 耶 和 華 我 的 神 阿 、 我 寄 居 在 這 寡 婦 的 家 裡 、 你 就 降 禍 與 他 、 使 他 的 兒 子 死 了 麼
and he cried unto the lord, and said, o lord my god, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom i sojourn, by slaying her son?

但 你 放 縱 情 慾 、 滾 沸 如 水 、 必 不 得 居 首 位 、 因 為 你 上 了 你 父 親 的 床 、 污 穢 了 我 的 榻
unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

我 的 神 感 動 我 心 、 招 聚 貴 冑 、 官 長 、 和 百 姓 、 要 照 家 譜 計 算 。 我 找 著 第 一 次 上 來 之 人 的 家 譜 、 其 上 寫 著
and my god put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. and i found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,

亞 倫 要 歸 到 他 列 祖 〔 原 文 作 本 民 〕 那 裡 、 他 必 不 得 入 我 所 賜 給 以 色 列 人 的 地 、 因 為 在 米 利 巴 水 你 們 違 背 了 我 的 命
aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which i have given unto the children of israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of meribah.
