실로 그들은 해악을 퍼뜨리면서도 깨닫지 못하노라

그들은 현세의 외형만을 알뿐내세에 대해서는 알지 못하노라
people simply know the outward aspect of the worldly life but are utterly heedless of the hereafter.

이때 그들의 눈들은 가리 워져 나를 염원하지 못하고 듣지 도 못하노라

그날이 되매 그들의 음모는 그들을 유용케 하지 못하고 구원 도 받지 못하노라
a day in which their guile will naught avail them, nor will they be helped.
